Timeline

  • July 2005.  Reading Roars! began.  The name was chosen in recognition of the Forbury Lion as a town symbol and Reading’s status as roaring hub of the Thames Valley.
  • May 2006.  Reading Roars! was mentioned in a Guardian News Blog article, Reading alert.
  • October 2006.  Interviewed by Reading 107 FM’s Joff Hopkins. 
  • March 2007.  Reading Roars! was mentioned in a Reading Chronicle Blog post. 
  • May 2008.  Reading Roars! was recommended in a BBC Berkshire article, Could your blog earn you £70,000?
  • December 2009John McGarvey joined.
  • January 2010Johnny Arrow joined.
  • February 2010Felicity Ford joined.

  1. hia looking for my nephew warran meffin who i believe plays for reading dont know if it it under 18 or not but have lost touch with my brother alex who is warrens dad and would love to get back in touch as have not keept in touch since our parents demise could you possibly help
