I suspect that, like most youngsters, you have been brought up to believe that all mannequins, dressmakers' dummies and bustforms possess powers of corruption. This is a story told by mothers to sons in a vain attempt to keep them from applying to the London College of Fashion after leaving school. All mothers pray that their sons will become plumbers. I like them. Imagine if Jacksons too stooped to only 'perfect-looking' mannequins, the normal 'Stepford-wives' style of decidedly underwieght fashion-image of the day models. Hoorah for Jacksons, protecting their cutomers from unrealistic ideals or molly-coddling, they really are the cutting-edge of quality. They were still there on 30th June.
