Festival arrests rise one-quarter
According to Thames Valley Police, there were 27% fewer crimes at this year’s Reading Festival than in 2004. There were 436 reported crimes overall, listed as the following:
175 were thefts from tents
173 for possession of cannabis
35 for deception in relation to forget ticket sales
There were 83 arrests made, however, compared with 63 in 2004.
