Fringe Festival to showcase local talent
And now news of another cultural extravaganza to hit Reading…the Reading Fringe Festival! This exciting event will run over 5 days, beginning on Saturday 20 August and ending with the Carling-sponsored Reading Festival. As the organisers put it:
The aim of the Fringe is to showcase local talent to the local community and to let people know that Reading has talent 365 days a year

There was a meeting for anyone interested in the Reading Fringe Festival on 8th December 2005. Luella Forbes agreed to be the main point of contact this year, on the recommendation of last years events coordinator Alex Kaupa. There is another meeting of the Fringe at the Outlook Bar on Readings Kings Road on 18th January 2006
