Google-eyed at Reading
Google Maps. Have you tried it yet? If not, you must. It’s superb. Enter a location in the search box on the Google Maps page and a map of the location specified will be displayed. Hit the Satellite button and, guess what, you get the same view but as a satellite image. Better still, you can zoom in and out as if you are hovering above the location. Furthermore, click on Hybrid and you get map and satellite views combined in one. London is pictured beautifully, as you might expect. Building details are very sharp. Search for a satellite pic of Reading, however, and you get an emerald green splodge. Zoom in and it looks horrible. Zoom in a few notches higher and you get a

Sorry to you, Google, but this ain’t good enough. Let’s see Reading in high-res!
