Keeper slips up
British tabloid The Sun reports that former Liverpool FC goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar vomited and collapsed at Reading’s Renaissance Hotel bar.
The incident happened on Thursday 20 September, when Grobbelaar was due to meet with fans at the Cafe du Sport sports bar (St. Mary’s Butts).
The disgraced Zimbabwean was given oxygen by paramedics who rushed to the scene, and was later taken to hospital. He was said to be in a “stable” condition.
